The Komenský apartment house is located on the street of the same name. It was bought by the current owners in 2021 and thank to their efforts, it inderwent a sensitive recontruction the following year, respecting the historical nature of the house and its surroundings. It is located right in the centre of the city, right below the Little Square.
The house was build in 1880, more than 140 years ago. You can find its year marked in Roman numerals above the main entrance to the building. The house is built in the Neo-Renaissance style, it is brick-walled and built using the classic technology of the time. One of the dominant features of the house is the two-armed staircase. This staircase is sandstone, woven in and is secured by a steel ornamental railing with wooden handrail. The building as such is not a cultural monument, but belongs to the historic preservation of the city. Komenského Street is part of the inner Hradec Králové traffic circle.
The reconstruction resulted in 14 above-standard fully equipped and design furnished 1+kk, 2+kk or 3+kk apartment units. The first tenants have been living here since 2022, and from this year we also acquired the house under our management.
